Dear Kathleen:
We have received your application and cordially invite you to audition for
admission to The Peabody Conservatory of Music. Auditions are held during
the week of February 16-21, 2014. When you arrive, please report to 17
East Mt. Vernon Place, and go through to the Grand Staircase. Walk down to the Arcade area
for Check-In. You will be able to pick up your schedules to learn of
any revisions in the time and place of your audition (there will be
changes in many schedules). We will be available to assist
you between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.
International students
coming in to audition must enter the country on a visitor’s visa.
Important information
concerning your schedule:
All Applicants: For important information regarding audition week
policies, placement exams, directions to Peabody, hotel information, and other
program-specific information please visit www.peabody.jhu.edu/AuditionWeekDownloads.
Audition Week Activities: After January 17th,
please refer to the Peabody audition week newsletter at www.peabody.jhu.edu/auditionweek. This
contains critical information concerning all the activities occurring during
the audition week.
Graduate Assistantships: Not seeing an
assistantship you applied for? Not all assistantship interviews are
scheduled by the Admissions Office. Please go to www.peabody.jhu.edu/assistantships to
review the requirements for each assistantship.
Composition Applicants: Please bring a
hardcopy of your composition portfolio with you to the interview.
DMA Applicants: Please bring a hardcopy of your writing sample to
your interview.
