Audition Requirements - College-Conservatory of Music

Voice Audition Information

Prescreening:

Prescreening Recordings are required for all voice program auditions. Applicants who wish to audition in Cincinnati or at a regional audition must submit a recording via getacceptd.com/ccm by November 25, 2011. Video is preferred, but audio recordings will be accepted. (See each degree for prescreening requirements.) After review, selected applicants will be invited to audition in person in Cincinnati or at a regional site. Please be sure to indicate your preferred audition date on your application.

Accompanists for the Audition 

Accompanists are not provided for out-of-town auditions.
If you need an accompanist for a Cincinnati audition, please note the following:
- Undergraduates must mail copies of their music with tempo markings to:

This must be received at least 10 days before your audition.
Please include the audition date requested and the degree for which you are applying. Be assured that an accompanist will be provided, free of charge. Unfortunately, no rehearsals can be arranged.
Reminder: Bring all music with you to your audition.
Music should be of the correct font size ? NOT the ones you can download from the internet.
Regional auditions: you must bring your own accompanist with you.

Voice BM 

A prescreening recording is required for an audition. Applicants living outside the continental United States may submit a recording via getacceptd.com/ccm in lieu of a Cincinnati or regional audition. Select preferred dates on the application. The repertoire requirements are the same for all auditions, including prescreening. Applicants for performance and education should prepare the following:
Two art songs, one in English and one in a foreign language. NO OPERATIC ARIAS ARE ALLOWED; however, an aria from an oratorio is acceptable.

The repertoire requirements for all Cincinnati, recorded, and regional auditions are the same
