Strings Audition Information

String (BM): violin, viola, cello, double bass & harp

   1. One solo or movement from a large work, such as a high school contest piece. Memorization is optional. 

2. One of the following: either an etude from any standard technique book or a composition of the applicant’s choice. 

3. Major scales through four sharps and four flats, and relative minor scales. 

4. Sight reading.
