2019 Rochester Audition Dates: February 1st, February 8th, February 15th, February 22^nd

MM auditions requirements:   

l   Prepared repertoire should include three contrasting major works from different stylistic periods that best represent the applicant’s technical and artistic strengths. 

l   Applicants for the new MM combining historical and classical guitar should follow the above guidelines, but be sure to include a Baroque and Romantic work.

DMA: Prescreening Requirement:   

l   DMA applicants must upload a preliminary audition recording (video preferred)

DMA audition requirements:   

l   Applicants should be prepared to perform, from memory, excerpts from a full-length solo recital program representing several contrasting style periods. 

l   Applicants in jazz studies and contemporary media should refer to the section on jazz for additional requirements.
