Guitar Audition Information

BM, BME, and BSOF

Undergraduate applicants must submit a screening recording demonstrating their guitar performance abilities before a personal audition will be scheduled.  

B.M. guitar applicants should prepare:

1) J. S. Bach, Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1

2) Fernando Sor, one study of Nos. 11-20 

3) Heitor Villa-Lobos, Prelude No. 4; or a work of similar difficulty

4) Heitor Villa-Lobos, Study No. 1; or a work of similar difficulty

BME, BSOF, and BM Composition applicants should prepare:

1) J. S. Bach, Prelude from Cello Suite No. 1

2) Fernando Sor, one study of Nos. 11-20

3) Heitor Villa-Lobos, Prelude No. 4; or a work of similar difficulty
