Dear Kathleen:
Thank you for your interest in the School
of Music at the University of Maryland. Your School of Music Undergraduate
Application Supplement has been received and processed.
Your Undergraduate Music Audition in Strings
- Cello has been scheduled for 1/20/2014 at 10:30 AM in the Clarice
Smith Performing Arts Center. Signs will direct you to the entrance of the
building for check-in. Please check in with the Admissions Staff in the lobby
in front of the entrance to the School of Music. Practice rooms are
available for warm-up and you will be directed to rooms upon your arrival at
the check-in desk.
We have quite a few activities taking place
each day of audition week. Below is a brief schedule. You may find detailed
information on what activities are taking place on your specific audition day
on our website at www.music.umd.edu/audition-week, and also our social media:

January 18-25, parking is available in the Lot 1 parking lot adjacent to the
Performing Arts Center without a permit (make sure you look for the signs for
Lot 1.) Parking is also available to visitors for a small fee in the
Stadium Drive Garage, between Byrd Stadium and the Clarice Smith Performing
