I am writing to you since I have a question on dorm. I wonder if I can get a single room while I am taking SES program during summer. I don't want to share a room with a roommate. I am planning to get a single room if I have to stay in dorm for my degree study too. Therefore, it's quite important for me to know and it will be greatly appreciated if you provide me all the relevant information on this matter at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Hello Kathleen,
As part of the SES program this summer it is very important that you are immersed in study. We feel strongly that all SES students should be placed in double rooms during the program. You will be paired with another SES student, which will help you to begin forming bonds with other students, enable group studying and community building in the residence hall. As you are a master’s student, we will try to place you with a roommate close to your age.
You are eligible for a single room during the regular academic year.
