Eastman School of Music prescreen은 제 작년까지는 Decision Desk에 학교원서와 별도로 upload하게 되어 있었고, 원서는 11월 1일까지 제출하고 prescreen은 12월 1일까지 Decision Desk에 upload하면 되었습니다. 하지만 작년 (2014년)에 prescreen recording을 원서 내에 uploading하는 section을 만들어 원서제출 시 prescreen과 함께 제출하도록 형식이 바뀌었습니다. 참조하시도록 관련항목을 인용 게재합니다.

November 1: Priority deadline. $75 application fee

Applicants who submit the online application, transcripts, and any required pre-screening materials by this deadline will receive priority handling, and will likely be scheduled for their first choice audition/interview date.

Pre-Screening Requirements (MM and DMA)

Certain degree programs and majors require additional pre-screening materials, as noted here. Pre-screen recordings should be uploaded within the application. (Only composition and jazz writing applicants should submit pre-screening materials by postal mail.) Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit pre-screening materials and their online application well before the application deadline to facilitate the pre-screening process. All application materials must be received by December 1 at the latest.

We strongly prefer that all applicants (except cellists) submit prescreening recordings online, as part of the online application, instead of by mail. These files or website links should be uploaded directly to the online application (to the recordings tab). Cellists must send recordings by mail (DVDs must be in NTSC format). Yale does not assume responsibility for loss of recordings and scores; copies should be sent. Note about audio quality: It is very important that the audio quality is excellent on audio and video recordings. If you are given a choice between submitting audio recordings or video recordings, and your video does not have high audio quality, we prefer that you submit an audio recording.

모든 prescreen은 Cello 전공을 제외하고는 원서에 upload하게 되어 있습니다. Cello 전공은 메일로 보내야 하고요. 참고로 학교에 보낼 메일주소 게재합니다.
