Voice Audition Information

Preliminary submission (video)

Live audition

l  Three songs, one each in English, French, and German

l  Three arias in contrasting styles and original languages, at least one aria in Italian

The above selections must be a representation of each of the following periods: Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and music composed after 1950 to the present.

Preliminary repertoire (video submission)

l  Preliminary submission will include at least one song each in English, French and German plus three operatic or oratorio arias of your choice. One of those selections should represent the Baroque period.

Live audition

l  The applicant will prepare a program of 30 minutes in duration to include four languages and a variety of art songs, operatic or oratorio arias which must include Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and music composed from 1950 to the present. The program must be performed from memory.
