Strings Audition Information

Strings (MM & DMA)

Admission to the program of study for the MA (string pedagogy), MM (string performance), and DMA (string performance) degrees will be determined by an audition committee on the basis of the applicant's ability to demonstrate sufficient performing ability to fulfill the requirements of the degree program.

Audition Requirements 

Submit a comprehensive repertoire list, and provide programs and reviews (if available) of concerts performed.

The audition should consist of about 30 minutes of music including repertoire from at least three stylistic periods.

Strings audition dates:

l  Friday, January 11, 2019 

l  Saturday, January 19, 2019 

l  Friday, January 25, 2019 

l  Friday, February 8, 2019
