- Two contrasting movements from a sonata by
J.S. Bach OR two contrasting movements from a
concerto by Mozart (including cadenzas)
- A complete work for solo flute (a work
originally written for flute alone, i.e. Bach Partita, Bozza Image, Berio
Sequenza)
- A third contrasting work of the candidate’s
choice (typically a work for flute and piano such as a sonata, a concerto,
or an unaccompanied work)
Please
note that etudes are not considered acceptable audition repertoire. The flute
faculty strongly urges using an accompanist for the pre-screening video
recording, though it is not technically required.
