*Performance Study: Instrument or Voice (2cr.) enrollment on the same instrument or voice required every fall and spring semester.

  • Option 1: performance study at the 400 level; entrance audition, freshman jury, upper-division examination, eighth-semester jury. This is the track recommended by the composition faculty, and requires a classical audition on an instrument or voice. Please follow the audition requirements under your chosen instrument.
  • Option 2: performance study at the 100 level; no entrance audition, and no subsequent examinations or juries are required.

Note: If you are applying for Option 1 and your performance area requires prescreening, please be sure to upload pre-screening recording of your performance in the online system as well.  You may upload the performance under the same account where you submit your composition portfolio.

*Please Note: Applicants who are required to submit pre-screening will submit their letters of recommendation to Acceptd.
