Applicants for the Doctor of Musical Arts
A live
audition is required. The audition should be a 30 minute performance of
selections from the following:
Tenor
or Bass Trombone:
- In addition to the orchestral excerpts
listed above, applicants must perform three contrasting solo works from
the standard solo repertoire, one of which must be a Baroque
transcription, and one of which must be a Contemporary piece
Applicants for the Artist Diploma
- For students holding a Bachelor’s degree in
performance: the requirements are the same as the Master of Music
- For students holding a Master’s degree in
performance: the requirements are the same as the Doctor of Musical Arts

Prior to the audition, all applicants are encouraged to confirm their audition
material with Professor Tim Conner by e-mail.
